Our objective transcends mere physical training; it is predicated upon providing structured, safe training protocols that concurrently cultivate essential character traits such as discipline, consistency, and a strong work ethic. My professional drive is rooted in two primary sources: the proven methodologies of esteemed coaching figures throughout history, and the observation of the unwavering dedication exhibited by every committed athlete. The inherent value of witnessing an individual surpass perceived limitations through sustained effort serves as the primary impetus for this coaching methodology.
Professional Experience and Authority
I offer two decades of cumulative experience in the fields of health, performance, and education. My foundational expertise is secured by a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, which encompasses a detailed understanding of human anatomy, physiology, kinetics, and adaptive training responses. This specialized knowledge forms the scientific basis for the integrity and safety of every program created.
Furthermore, my clinical authority is significantly augmented by my certification as a Physician Assistant. With nearly 20 years dedicated to emergency medicine and current involvement in graduate-level PA education, the utmost priority is placed on safety, injury prevention, and the execution of proper form. Direct clinical experience has provided comprehensive insight into musculoskeletal breakdown, reinforcing the commitment to ensuring all strength gains are achieved through responsible, evidence-based training practices.
On the athletic front, practical expertise was gained as a walk-on athlete for a Division 3 collegiate team, achieving a documented 38-inch vertical jump at a height of 5'8". This demonstrated achievement validates the effectiveness of the structured, systematic training principles employed in all programs. The success achieved through progressive training serves as an assurance that these methodologies deliver measurable results for the dedicated athlete.

Character Basketball training is about developing the individual as a whole through strength, speed, and skill training that also focuses on the development of strong character traits - respect, honesty, loyalty, and the value of hard work.

As a coach, trainer, and teacher I have had many inspirations throughout my life from the great coaches in history to my own coaches who taught me many valuable lessons over my life.

A college athlete, now coach, I have also been a certified personal trainer with a degree in kinesiology. I now work in medicine and continue to have a passion for sports and weight training.
