How are you going to know you’re getting better, stronger, faster, more skilled, more accurate???
The human brain is terrible at estimating. Don’t keep track by how well you feel you’re shooting or guessing how many reps you did last workout.
Keep track!! Write it down!
This is actually harder than it sounds which is why all my lifting and basketball training programs and workouts have easy to use Google or Excel spreadsheets. Just copy them to your Drive and open them when you get to the gym. After each set write down the number of makes or the weight and reps of each exercise or drill.
